RACING

The McCookSpeedway is located on the Red Willow County Fairgrounds at West 5th and Q Streets. Classes that participate include IMCA Modified, IMCA Stock Car, IMCA Hobby Stock, Classic Modified, Mini-trucks, and Mini-Sprints. Track promoter is Dennis McFarland, (308) 345-2249.

Southwest Nebraska Motocross is located 1 1/2 miles south of McCook on Hwy 83, 1/2 mile East, then 3/4 mile South.  The motocross racing season runs from March to October. Contact Steve Fritz, (308) 345-3744 for more information.
